The Patterson-Logan Grocery Store, located at 2515 Booker Avenue in Washington Heights, is available for purchase. While not a designated historic landmark, the building is on the Historic Landmarks Commission’s Study List of Prospective Historic Landmarks and is protected through a preservation easement held by Preserve Mecklenburg.

The City of Charlotte has announced that it is seeking input on the redevelopment of City-owned land located near the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The request includes “seeking a private-sector development partner for the preservation, redevelopment or reuse of the 11.2-acre site” that contains the historic Steele Creek Presbyterian Church.
