Former Barringer Hotel at Risk of Being Demolished

The Charlotte Observer is following the announcement that the Hall House, formerly known as the Barringer Hotel, located at 426 N. Tryon Street, Charlotte, N.C., may be demolished in a plan to build affordable apartments on the property. Although the building is not a designated local historic landmark, it is on the National Register of Historic Places.
