Public Hearing for the Kelly M. and Margaret G. A. Alexander House

The public will take notice that the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Historic Landmarks Commission will hold a public hearing on the question of designating as a historic landmark the property known as the “Kelly M. and Margaret G. A. Alexander House” as set forth below to be conducted during the Commission’s regularly scheduled meeting at 6:00 p.m. on the 10th day of November, 2025, via a virtual meeting format. The hearing will allow the public to comment on the potential historic landmark designation of the “Kelly M. and Margaret G. A. Alexander House” (listed under Parcel Identification Number 06917103 and including the interior and exterior of the house and the land listed under Tax Parcel Number 06917103 in the Mecklenburg County Tax Office, Charlotte, North Carolina as of August 1, 2025). The property is owned by the Helen and Alfred Alexander Living Trust, and is located at 2128 Senior Drive in Charlotte, North Carolina. Such designation would be pursuant to Chapter 160D, Article 9, as amended, of the General Statutes of North Carolina.

The public will take notice that the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Historic Landmarks Commission will hold public hearings on the questions of designating as historic landmarks the properties known as the “Ziglar-Bowers House” and the “Dr. Charles W. and Vivian L. Williams House” as set forth below to be conducted during the Commission’s regularly scheduled meeting at 6:00 p.m. on the 11th day of August, 2025, via a virtual meeting format. The hearings will allow the public to comment on the potential historic landmark designations of the “Ziglar-Bowers House” (listed under Parcel Identification Number 07103305 and including the interior and exterior of the house and the land listed under Tax Parcel Number 07103305 in the Mecklenburg County Tax Office, Charlotte, North Carolina as of May 1, 2025), and the “Dr. Charles W. and Vivian L. Williams House” (listed under Parcel Identification Number 03712312 and including the exterior of the house and the land listed under Tax Parcel Number 03712312 in the Mecklenburg County Tax Office, Charlotte, North Carolina as of May 1, 2025). The “Ziglar-Bowers House” is owned by Daniel Reach and Nancy Furst, and is located at 421 Heathcliff Street in Charlotte, North Carolina. The “Dr. Charles W. and Vivian L. Williams House” is owned by Charles L. Assenco and Linda W. Comer, and is located at 5906 Crestwood Drive in Charlotte, North Carolina. Such designations would be pursuant to Chapter 160D, Article 9, as amended, of the General Statutes of North Carolina.
