Public Hearing for the Dilworth Methodist Church South
The public will take notice that the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Historic Landmarks Commission will hold a public hearing on the question of designating as a historic landmark the property known as the “Dilworth Methodist Church South” as set forth below to be conducted during the Commission’s regularly scheduled meeting at 6:00 p.m. on the 8th day of June, 2026, via a virtual meeting format. The hearing will allow the public to comment on the potential historic landmark designation of the “Dilworth Methodist Church South” (listed under Parcel Identification Number 12105301 and including the exterior of the building and the land listed under Tax Parcel Number 12105301 in the Mecklenburg County Tax Office, Charlotte, North Carolina as of March 1, 2026). The “Dilworth Methodist Church South” is owned by On Cleveland LLC, and is located at 1829 Cleveland Avenue in Charlotte, North Carolina. Such designation would be pursuant to Chapter 160D, Article 9, as amended, of the General Statutes of North Carolina.

The public will take notice that the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Historic Landmarks Commission will hold a public hearing on the question of designating as a historic landmark the property known as the “Foard House” as set forth below to be conducted during the Commission’s regularly scheduled meeting at 6:00 p.m. on the 8th day of June, 2026, via a virtual meeting format. The hearing will allow the public to comment on the potential historic landmark designation of the “Foard House” (listed under Parcel Identification Number 10717219 and including the interior and exterior of the house and the land listed under Tax Parcel Number 10717219 in the Mecklenburg County Tax Office, Charlotte, North Carolina as of March 1, 2026). The “Foard House” is owned by Virginia L. Walker, and is located at 7410 Shady Lane in Charlotte, North Carolina. Such designation would be pursuant to Chapter 160D, Article 9, as amended, of the General Statutes of North Carolina.
