Public Hearing For John Eli Brattain House

The public will take notice that the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Historic Landmarks Commission will hold a public hearing on the question of designating as a historic landmark the property known as the “John Eli Brattain House” as set forth below to be conducted during the Commission’s regularly scheduled meeting at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th day of October, 2024, via a virtual meeting format. The hearing will allow the public to comment on the potential historic landmark designation of the “John Eli Brattain House,” listed under Tax Parcel Identification Number 00701884 and including the interior and exterior of the building and the approximately 0.322 acre of land listed under Tax Parcel Identification Number 00701884 in the Mecklenburg County Tax Office as of July 1, 2024. Said property is owned by 305 Main Holdings LLC and is located at 305 South Main Street in Davidson, North Carolina. Such designation would be pursuant to Chapter 160D, Article 9, as amended, of the General Statutes of North Carolina.


Public Hearing For Caldwell-Bradford School

The public will take notice that the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Historic Landmarks Commission will hold a public hearing on the question of designating as a historic landmark the property known as the “Caldwell-Bradford School” as set forth below to be conducted during the Commission’s regularly scheduled meeting at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th day of October, 2024, via a virtual meeting format. The hearing will allow the public to comment on the potential historic landmark designation of the “Caldwell-Bradford School,” listed under Tax Parcel Identification Number 01108107 and including the exterior of the building and the approximately 1.68 acres of land listed under Tax Parcel Identification Number 01108107 in the Mecklenburg County Tax Office as of July 1, 2024. Said property is owned by John Frank Bragg Jr. and Katharine B. Bragg and is located at 16401 Davidson-Concord Road within the sphere of influence of Huntersville, North Carolina. Such designation would be pursuant to Chapter 160D, Article 9, as amended, of the General Statutes of North Carolina.
