develop a Request For Proposals that would contain at least the following
obligations on the part of the buyer.

in an appropriate manner, e.g., signage, exhibits, media presentations, etc.

In Executive Session the Committee voted to recommend to
the Historic Landmarks Commission that an offer be submitted to purchase the
Funderburk-Plaxco House.
D. Millhouse
at 409 Park Ave., Pineville, N.C.

The millhouse, which is a designated historic landmark in
Pineville, is being foreclosed on by Mecklenburg County for unpaid taxes.
It will be offered for sale within the next two months, and the HLC has
agreed to submit an offer of up to $9000. If the HLC acquires the property,
it will develop a preservation strategy which might involve marketing the
property "as is," restoring the house, or demolishing the house and
marketing the property as a vacant lot but retaining landmark status so the
HLC can retain design review authority over what is built there.
