Peeps House\, and Victor Shaw House \nThe public will take notice that the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Historic Landmarks Commission will hold a virtual public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th day of June\, 2021\, on the following questions: \n\nThe potential amendment to the ordinance designating the “Edgewood Plantation” as a historic landmark (listed under Tax Parcel Numbers 02761104\, 02761105\, and 02761106 in the Mecklenburg County Tax Office\, Charlotte\, North Carolina as of March 1\, 2021)\, to de-designate all of the land associated with the historic landmark with the exception of the approximately two-acre parcel containing the historic plantation house\, the earlier log outbuilding\, and associated structures\, and the approximately 4.75-acre parcel identified as Tax Parcel Number 02761106. Tax Parcel Numbers 02761104 and 02761105 are owned by Bowman Sumner LLC. Tax Parcel Number 02761106 is owned by Melanie Jones McLeod. The property is located at 11100\, 11124\, and 11132 Eastfield Road\, within the City of Charlotte\, North Carolina;\n\nThe potential historic landmark designation of the “Ervin Building” (listed under Tax Parcel Numbers 13111110 and and 13111114 and including the interior and exterior of the building\, and the land listed under Tax Parcel Numbers 13111110 and 13111114 in the Mecklenburg County Tax Office\, Charlotte\, North Carolina as of February 1\, 2021). Peeps House” (listed under Tax Parcel Number 12108208 and including the interior and exterior of the house\, and the land listed under Tax Parcel Number 12108208 in the Mecklenburg County Tax Office\, Charlotte\, North Carolina as of February 1\, 2021). Said property is owned by Steven and Polly Menaker\, and is located at 831 East Worthington Avenue in Charlotte\, North Carolina; and\nThe potential amendment to the ordinance designating the “Victor Shaw House” as a historic landmark (listed under Tax Parcel Number 09505544 in the Mecklenburg County Tax Office\, Charlotte\, North Carolina as of January 1\, 2021)\, to de-designate all of the land associated with the historic landmark with the exception of the three parcels bordering Mecklenburg Avenue\, consisting of the parcel that contains the historic house and the two adjacent parcels lying immediately to the east and west of the historic house. Said property is owned by Mecklenburg Park\, LLC\, and is located at 2400 Mecklenburg Avenue in Charlotte\, North Carolina.\n\nThe hearings will allow the public to comment on the foregoing potential matters.
