Patterson Street Houses Descriptions The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Historic Preservation Foundation , currently called Historic Charlotte, Inc., initiated the restoration of a number of properties in North Charlotte. Dr. Dan L. Morrill raised money to buy, restore and sell properties and also got people to donate their properties (i.e. The Hand Pharmacy - donated by Mr. Frank Hand.) Today NODA is what it is due to all the work of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Historic Landmarks Commission led by Dr. Dan L. Morrill.
